About Author

scott-cat-with-millers2I was born and raised in the southern city of Memphis, TN. I have a BA in Communications and an MA in Theological Studies, and I must admit, I do enjoy learning. I’ve traveled to many lands afar such as Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, France, Zambia and South Africa. My hope is to have the glorious opportunity to visit many more places in the years to come. I currently live in Brussels, Belgium, and I am a part of Cornerstone International Church. I am married to a beautiful English rose, Catherine. Her blue eyes light up my heart and she is my best friend.

There are certain things I take pleasure in like a latte and a really good book, sushi, writing, watching football/soccer, watching US college basketball and football, taking walks with my wife, and dreaming big.

I enjoy reading a few types of literature, but I will at least give other genres a try. Specifically, of the fiction genre, I love both fantasy and suspense novels. I have read all the Grisham novels and Dan Brown’s. Though I am newer to fantasy books, I have been able to read Tolkein, Lewis, J.K. Rowling, and Paolini.

I have begun this blog as part of my own journey. I love reading fiction because I love how most stories introduce us to the bigger story. Fiction captures the imagination and heart of humanity around the globe. And so, I have created this blog – The Creative Journey – in hopes to express my own creative imagination in short stories, articles and poetry. Maybe one of these days I will be able to complete a novel. We shall see…
